This past month has been nothing short of exhilarating for Team Aura! From the sun-soaked deserts of Phoenix, Arizona, to the historic streets of Prague, our team has been on the move, making valuable connections, learning from industry leaders, and having a blast along the way. Here’s a quick recap of what we’ve been up to.
We kicked off our travels with a bang at the AVANT Special Forces Summit 2024, in Phoenix! As a brand-new vendor partner of AVANT Communications, we were thrilled to dive into this action-packed event and meet Avant’s ecosystem of partners, as well as some of its Trusted Advisors. Tony, Jack, and Shannon enjoyed two-and-a-half days of networking, learning, and opportunity to share the Aura story.
During the summit, one of the most interesting announcements, for us, came from David Lover of Avaya and Drew Lydecker, who revealed how AVANT’s Trusted Advisors can now support Avaya customers - a monumental opportunity that Aura is ready to help enable on a global scale. Whether your customer is based in the US or operates in one of the 145 countries we serve, Aura is here to deliver Avaya’s world-class solutions and support. This presents an amazing opportunity for AVANT’s Trusted Advisors to tap into a customer base previously not on their radar.
We also had the pleasure of hearing the inspiring Inky Johnson deliver an unforgettable keynote. His powerful story of resilience and determination resonated deeply with everyone in the room. Inky reminded us to never forget *why* we do what we do and to always strive for better. A true mantra for all of us jostling in this fast-paced world.
To top off the Summit, Ludacris brought the house down at the closing party - the perfect way to wrap up an epic few days of energy and learning! The future is bright, and we can’t wait to see what’s next for our partnership with AVANT!
While part of our team was enjoying the heat in Arizona, Jonathan, Joel, and Keyleen headed to the beautiful city of Prague for Ribbon Communications’ Ribbon Insights 2024 event. This two-day extravaganza was packed with insights, updates, and sessions on the latest in Unified Communications, AI, and security.
We kicked things off with an insightful product strategy session, catching up with old friends and exchanging ideas on where the industry is heading. From keynotes to breakout sessions, the event provided a fantastic opportunity to dive into the future of communications and how we can continue to deliver top-notch solutions to our customers.
But the real star of the show? Elliot the Elephant! Our beloved mascot made quite the splash, taking to the floor and charming the delegates with stories from his recent travels with Aura (including Phoenix, where he made a flying visit too!). His presence added a fun, unexpected twist to the event, and we can’t thank Ribbon enough for their warm hospitality and for welcoming our trunked companion with open arms.
Next up, we stayed a little closer to home, heading to the scenic Cotswolds for Nuvola’s Channel Partner Golf Day. As a proud vendor partner of Nuvola Distribution, and an event sponsor, we showcased our Microsoft Teams Phone solution, sharing insights into how it can unlock new growth opportunities for businesses.
Our Microsoft Teams Phone solution will complete the loop on Nuvola’s Microsoft Teams eco-system, adding enterprise-grade telephony to its already comprehensive Microsoft Teams Ready Solutions, across the UK and beyond. And with Microsoft’s market share in voice predicted to hit 33% by 2026, the timing couldn't be better to help businesses tap into this huge opportunity.
With golf not being our strongest game, we opted to hit the golf course with refreshments instead, and the Jon and Joel duo did a sterling job keeping players refreshed and ready for action! What a smashing event, and we look forward to building on this fantastic partnership.
Our latest adventure saw Shannon representing Aura at the Cavell Summit, in New York. This was the third time we’ve participated in the event, which brought together leading service providers and vendors in the UCaaS and CCaaS space. Shannon held the fort, mingling with delegates and gaining insights into the latest opportunities in unified communications.
The Cavell Summit always promises valuable takeaways, and this year’s event was no exception. Shannon made the most of the chance to network, learn, and strengthen Aura’s presence in this ever-evolving market.
